When her sister Hannie finds a stuffed unicorn, Magss wishes start to come true. She knows the unicorn cant really be magic, but she wont let anything ruin her newfound luckeven if it means telling her own sister to believe something that cant possibly be true.
AUTHOR BIO
Karen Hesse has received numerous honors for her writing, including the Scott ODell Historical Fiction Award, the MacArthur Fellowship Genius Award, the Christopher Award, and the Newbery Medal. Ms. Hesse is also the author of Letters from Rifka and Phoenix Rising, both will be available from Square Fish, and her newest book, Brooklyn Bridge was published by Feiwel and Friends in Fall 2008. She lives in Brattleboro, Vermont.
