BOOK SYNOPSIS
Originally published in 1913, this reference book still stands the test of time. As current today as ever, this encyclopedia includes advice and instruction on every aspect of sporting life, from fly fishing to trapping and big game hunting. The late author describes it as a portable and practical volume containing much information one in the woods would like, or ought, to know. The expanse of information also includes lessons on proper outfitting, reading the skies for weather, decoys and dogs, trapping, tanning, rifle cleaning, pistol care, and much more. Beautifully packaged with illustrations and black & white photos throughout.

AUTHOR BIO
Francis H. Buzzacott was a hunter, trapper, and guide for over forty years. He made expeditions to both the Arctic and Antarctic, and was a member of the National Rifle Association of America, the League of American Sportsmen, and the American Geographical Society.
