AUTHOR BIO
Joan Horton has always loved black cats, scary stories, and trick-or-treating. Each Halloween a grinning jack-o-lantern lights a path to her kitchen door for the neighborhood ghosts and goblins. She is the author of several books for children including Hippopotamus Stew and Other Silly Animal Poems, and lives in Glastonbury, Connecticut. JoAnn Adinolfi is also a fan of Halloween. Working on this book enabled her to draw some of her favorite subjectsmonsters. Ms. Adinolfi has illustrated many books for children, including Hippopotamus Stew and Other Silly Animal Poems and The Perfect Thanksgiving, available from Square Fish. She lives in Oakland, California, with family.
