AUTHOR BIO
ANNA GREEN is Associate Professor and Head of the School of Social Sciences at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She has previous published on theory and history with Manchester (The Houses of History, MUP, 1999. As a New Zealand historian who has also taught in North America and who maintains strong links with academia in the UK, she is well-placed to take an international view of this very global area of history.
