AUTHOR BIO
Abelardo Morell was born in Cuba in 1948. His work has been exhibited and collected by the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York; the Art Institute of Chicago; and over forty other museums and institutions worldwide. He has been the recipient of several awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1993. Morell lives in Brookline, Massachusetts. Nicholson Baker has published seven novels and four works of nonfiction, including Double Fold, which won a National Book Critics Circle Award in 2001, and The World on Sunday.
